ECCA's Memory Tree

Every year we have a beautiful town Christmas Tree which is located nearby the Stone Bridge and is decorated in bright lights, donated this year by Ring Lodge Nursery. We are very excited to launch
a range of tree decorations that you can personalise to be hung on the tree, in tribute to absent friends and family or to celebrate those close to us who enjoy Christmas as much as we do. 

We have chosen a very specific plywood decoration made with natural fibres, for a number of special reasons; 

1. 1)  The plywood and natural string are compostable, so if for any reason they detach from the tree they will not endanger or contaminate the localised habitat
    
2. 2)  They are extremely lightweight, so if they do detach, they will not cause a hazard to nearby motorists or pedestrians.
    
3. 3)  After Christmas the decorations will be disposed of, along with the tree, so will not
   require any additional landfill space. 

Decorations will cost £1 each. Decorations can be purchased from; 

Eden Emporium, throughout December, where they also have a decorating station every Saturday in December, if you want to get creative. 

Finished decorations should be returned to the drop box (located in Eden Emporium)

Love your finished design, no problem... feel free to keep it for your tree at home. It is not mandatory to return your decoration.
We are going digital too; you can email a photograph of your finished decoration to tree@theecca.co.uk with a special message and we will upload the picture onto our dedicated tree page on the Christmas.
