No. Stall locations can change right up until the event day to ensure a good mix of stalls. Our stalls team will guide you to your allocated space on arrival.
Yes. All stallholders must have valid public liability insurance to attend. We will need to see proof of this before confirming your booking.
Set-up usually begins from 10.30am. Please ensure you are fully set up by 12pm before the event opens to the public.
The event runs until 6pm. For safety reasons, please do not pack down until after closing and when the public has cleared the area.
Yes, but parking is away from the stalls. Once you’ve unloaded, please move your vehicle to the designated parking area. Marshals will direct you where to go. If you are on your own a Marshall would be happy to wait with your stall whilst you relocate your car.
Yes, there will be a short unloading window before the road is closed to vehicles. Please unload quickly and move your car as soon as possible to keep traffic flowing. If you are on your own, a Marshall will be happy to wait with your items.
The event takes place after dark, so please bring your own battery-powered lights or torches to ensure your stall is well-lit and safe.
No, stalls are expected to be self-sufficient. Please plan for battery or alternative lighting/power if needed.
Yes. Our marshals can briefly watch your stall if you need to use the toilet or grab some refreshments.
Yes, public toilets will be open nearby. Ask a marshal for directions.
All stalls are outdoors, so please bring appropriate coverings such as gazebos or waterproof sheets. Be prepared for winter weather!
There will be around 40 stalls featuring a mix of local traders, crafts, and festive food.
We typically attract several hundred to a few thousand visitors throughout the afternoon/evening, as the High Street is closed to traffic and filled with festive entertainment and lights.
Yes! Expect live music, carol singers, food vendors, and festive activities to keep visitors around and encourage browsing.
Yes, we’ll promote participating stalls on our social media and event pages. Please make sure you’ve sent us your logo, business name, and social media links
Absolutely! We encourage you to tag us in your posts and share your experience — it helps everyone reach more customers.
Marshals and event staff will be visible and available throughout the evening. Look for high-visibility jackets or visit the ECCA stall.
The event will go ahead in most weather conditions, so please come prepared. In the event of extreme weather, we’ll contact all stallholders as soon as possible with updates.
Yes, once the road is safe to reopen, you’ll be able to bring your vehicle closer for loading. Marshals will let you know when it’s safe to do so.
